IntelliSurvey's "Home page," called the Survey Navigator, provides users with a list of all surveys they have access to on a given server. It also allows users to create new surveys, access resource files, and manage administrative tasks such as adding new users to the server or editing user profiles.
The main highlights include:
- Pinned surveys are displayed as tiles at the top of the screen for quick access.
- The menu on the left allows users to access the Resources applet to view system sheets, survey themes, and libraries; access the Admin applet to view or add system users; and view the Roles applet to view, edit, or create new users groups.
- The New Survey buttons under the left navigation menu allow users to create new custom surveys or use a template.
- IntelliSurvey's documentation can be accessed via the Help Center icon in the upper-right hand corner.
- Users can access their user profile or log out via the User Menu icon.
Tip! You can open the Survey Navigator in a new browser tab by hovering over the Surveys/ Home button in the left navigation menu and pressing Ctrl-click (PC) or Cmd-click (Mac).
Survey Navigator grid
The Survey Navigator offers multiple search options. The Quick Search feature, located above the top-left corner of the grid, allows users to search across various columns like Survey ID, Description, Stage, and Status. Users can also filter searches by date range, while pinned surveys remain visible regardless of the date range. Additional filters are available through the More Filters button, including options to include archived surveys, display only survey templates, or search based on survey content such programming tags or words. Lastly, users can sort the grid by any column, with columns featuring an inverted triangle icon providing additional filter menus.
Surveys are archived after a period of time. If you need help locating a survey, contact a Support agent.
Pinning a survey
To pin a survey, click the star icon to the left of the Survey ID in the Survey Navigator. Click again to unpin or click the star on the pinned tile. Pinned surveys ignore filters and are always displayed in the tiles above the Survey Navigator grid.
Opening a survey
To open a survey:
- single-click on the survey ID (name) in the Survey Navigator grid,
- double-click on the row in the Survey Navigator grid, or
- single-click on a pinned survey tile at the top of the screen.
When you open a survey, it opens in the same browser tab. If you wish to open the survey in another browser tab, use Ctrl-click (PC) or Cmd-click (Mac) instead.
