The Survey Navigator, IntelliSurvey’s home page, lists all the surveys a user has access to on a server. This is also where you can find the system menu to create surveys, access system resources, and manage admin tasks like adding users or editing profiles.
Overview
- Pinned surveys appear as tiles at the top for quick access.
- Use Resources to view system sheets, survey themes, libraries, and create dashboards.
- Use Admin to manage system users, review roles, and create new user groups.
- The New Survey buttons under the left navigation menu allow users to create new custom surveys or use a template.
- Access documentation from the
Help Center icon in the upper-right corner.
- Users can access their user profile or log out via the
User Menu icon.
Tip! Open the Survey Navigator in a new tab by hovering over the Surveys button in the left navigation menu and pressing Ctrl-click (PC) or Cmd-click (Mac) or by clicking the IntelliSurvey logo.
Survey Navigator grid
The Survey Navigator offers multiple search options. Users can sort the grid by any column, with columns featuring an inverted triangle icon providing additional filter menus.
Users can also filter searches by date range. If any survey was last modified outside of the date range, its survey ID will be italicized.
Additional filters are available through the More Filters button, including options to include archived surveys, display only survey templates, or search based on content that was included or excluded from a survey's source code.
Surveys are archived after a period of time. If you need help locating a survey, contact support or email them at help@intellisurvey.com.
Pinning a survey
To pin a survey, click the star icon to the left of the Survey ID in the Survey Navigator. Click again to unpin, or click the star on the pinned tile. Pinned survey tiles are always displayed above the Survey Navigator grid, regardless of the time period or other filters being applied.
Opening a survey
To open a survey:
- single-click on the survey ID (name) in the Survey Navigator grid,
- double-click on the row in the Survey Navigator grid, or
- single-click on a pinned survey tile at the top of the screen.
When you open a survey, it opens in the same browser tab. If you wish to open the survey in another browser tab, use Ctrl-click (PC) or Cmd-click (Mac) instead.
