When logging in to an IntelliSurvey server for the first time, you'll be prompted to enter your email address. If your account uses the traditional account creation process, you will also be prompted to enter your name and create a password. If you are part of an organization that has single sign-on (SSO) enabled, you will be routed to your authenticator's page (e.g., Google) to continue.
- If you don't have an account, an IntelliSurvey Team Leader+ can create one.
- To enable SSO for your organization, contact support or email to help@intellisurvey.com.
Logging in and out
Enter your registered email and password.
To change the email that is displayed on screen, click "Not You?" or click the profile icon (circle with initials) in the upper-right corner and select Log Out.
If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password?" After five failed login attempts, the account is locked.
Resetting your password
For non-SSO users, passwords can be managed directly within the IntelliSurvey platform.
While logged in
Click the profile icon → Change Password.
While logged out
Go to your server's login page, for example: https://yourservername.intellisurvey.com/admin/.
Click "Forgot Password?" Enter your registered email to receive a reset link (valid for 2 hours). If your reset link expires, repeat the process above.
Note, no email is sent if the address isn't associated with an account, regardless of the message displayed on screen.
Passphrase requirements
- Minimum 12 characters; no max length.
- Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid common words, simple sequences, or reused passwords.
- Strength meter appears as you type. Passwords must be "strong."
- Passwords are valid for one year. You can reset it anytime, and expiration resets upon each change.
Changing password type (Auth Provider)
For users that have SSO enabled, you can choose between using a local passphrase or authenticator provider (e.g., Google). To change from one setup to another, you must be logged in.
Click the profile icon → Edit → change selection in the Auth Provider dropdown > Save Changes.
