Although IntelliSurvey's documentation is "public" and does not require a login to view it, there may be times when you or a colleague would prefer to view our articles offline, outside of our documentation center. In those situations, you can print and save our articles as PDFs.
Printing an article as a PDF is straightforward and follows the same process as saving it as a PDF. When you print or save one of our Help articles as a PDF, it automatically removes extraneous information such as the Table of Contents and navigation details, so that you only save the article's content.
To print an article as a PDF, begin by navigating to the desired article and right-clicking within the article. A pop-up will appear; select the Print option to continue.
If the article contains interactive code demos, ensure that all demos display the code rather than the demo. This enables you to print the SPL (Survey Programming Language) used in our coding examples for reference. If a demo is visible instead of the code, click the See code button located above the example.
In the print modal window, choose to print or save the file as a PDF. The user interface for this may vary depending on your computer's operating system. For articles containing SPL, you may want to review the preview to ensure that any demos are displaying the SPL code rather than the interactive version.
After reviewing the preview, click Save to continue, and then select the folder where you'd like to save the file.
Once saved, you can open the file in your PDF viewing program of choice. Note that PDFs of our articles will retain links to other documentation (shown in blue font). Clicking on these links will allow you to access the associated articles.
If you encounter any issues while saving and printing PDFs of our articles, feel free to contact our Support team at help@intellisurvey.com or click the Help icon at the bottom of any our articles.
