Details
- Both
preface
andfootnote
are compatible with all question and table types and may contain content such as HTML formatting, HTML image tags, links, settexts, question piping, and Perl code blocks. - These tags can be attached directly to individual question and table widgets, or applied "globally" to all questions by attaching them to a
set defaults
widget. Similarly, bothpreface
andfootnote
can also be included on astart group
widget to apply their content to all questions within a group. - Prefaces that have been applied to a full survey or a group's content can be hidden for an individual question by adding
preface: n
to the question. - Both
preface
andfootnote
allow for heredoc usage for longer/more complex content.
Decorators
The following element decorators can be applied to a preface
or footnote
tag by including the decorator after the text shown to the respondent.
