IntelliSurvey features an ever-expanding collection of keyboard shortcuts to speed up how you navigate and use IntelliSurvey's user interface (UI). A list of currently available keyboard shortcuts is provided below.
We recommend bookmarking this page as additional shortcuts will likely be added in future releases.
General UI shortcuts
The following shortcuts can be used throughout the IntelliSurvey interface. Note, for Macs, ⌘ = command.

| Ctrl+C | ⌘+C | Copies the content of the currently highlighted cell(s) (also works in tables and sheets). |

Text editor shortcuts
Notable shortcuts that work within IntelliSurvey's text editor, CodeMirror, in the Editor applet are listed below. Most standard navigation shortcuts work as well. Undo/Redo history

Text navigation

Autocompleting tags and widgets
The text editor recognizes many shortcut key combinations, including an autocomplete feature for adding tags (e.g., type:
checkbox), widgets (e.g., start table), and other survey programming language (SPL) syntax. To view a list of compatible completions, press Ctrl+Space (PC) or control+space (Mac) with the cursor at the end of the phrase, or press Ctrl+Space and begin typing. Use the arrow keys to move between suggestions, then select an item by clicking or pressing Enter/return.

IntelliBuilder shortcuts
The IntelliBuilder (IB) editing mode allows users to create various survey elements with little to no knowledge of our SPL. The typical formatting shortcut keys for bolding, italicizing, and underlining text are available to use in question text, options, and other displayed text. Additionally, IB has the following special keyboard shortcuts available.

Testmode shortcuts
Many of the buttons available in the Testmode toolbar have assigned shortcut keys. For information on using shortcut keys while in Testmode, see Running surveys in Testmode.

| Alt+A | option+A | Goes back one page. |
| Alt+S | option+S | Goes forward one page. |
| Alt+V | option+V | Shows SPL and warnings (toggles on and off). |
| Alt+Q | option+Q | Creates a new record. The respondent ID, e.g., TEST20007, will increment in the URL and at the top of the toolbar. |
| Alt+W | option+W | Refreshes the page. |
| Alt+Y | option+Y | Clears termination logic. |
| Alt+X | option+X | Autofills responses for the page. |
| Alt+C | option+C | Clones the record with this history and opens a new browser tab for the cloned record. |
| Alt+Z | option+Z | Clears responses for the page. |
| Alt+R | option+R | Opens Record Data pop-up for viewing and editing responses. |
| Alt+G | option+G | Opens Feedback Log pop-up. |
