Version Notice: This article covers features in our r9/IS Pro platform. If you're looking for information on this topic related to r8, see Opening an existing survey.
The Survey Navigator acts as the home landing page when you log into the IntelliSurvey platform. From here, you can view and search for any of the surveys that you have been granted access to.
There are multiple ways to open a survey from the Survey Navigator screen:
- single-clicking on the survey ID (name) in the Survey Navigator grid,
- double-clicking on the row in the Survey Navigator grid,
- double-clicking on a pinned survey tile at the top of the screen, or
- double-clicking on the survey's row in the Open Survey modal (the magnifying glass/search icon).
Opening a survey
When you open a survey, you will be directed to the Fielding Overview's Metrics applet. This applet contains a series of survey tiles that allow you to monitor a survey's performance for topics such as quotas, terminations, and general survey activity.
You can use the Survey Navigation menu (left) to navigate to other applets within the platform. Applets are organized by survey stage (Build, Field, Analyze), and a Settings applet group is included as well for adding users to a survey or altering your survey's configuration settings. If you need to open another survey, you can navigate back to the Survey Navigator screen by clicking the Home button at the top of the navigation menu.
If additional screen space is needed, you can minimize the navigation menu by clicking the collapse menu button. To return the menu to normal size, click the expand menu button.
Opening a survey in another browser tab
When you open a survey, it opens in the same browser tab, taking you away from the Survey Navigator screen. If you wish to open the survey in another browser tab, use Ctrl-click (PC) or Cmd-click (Mac) instead of a double click.
