The quota tracking variable tag specifies the name of a variable for tracking over-quota punches for quotas created with the type: quotas and quotabase tags. This is most commonly used in click balance quotas (CBQs).

Note: This tag is only applicable to type: quotas and quotabase. There is a newer, preferred method for creating CBQs using the click balance quota tag or type: click balance quota. The newer method generates a quota tracking variable cboq by default.

Details

  • The quota tracking variable tag is applied directly to a quota widget (type: quotas). It affects that widget only, but multiple widgets can use the same variable.
  • The quota tracking variable tag's input is restricted to cb.
  • Without this tag the default variable for all over-quota data, including regular quotas, is oq.
