Password

The password question type defines a password field in which the characters entered are masked. The data entered here is visible in all reports, as well as data quickview in Testmode. If the password question needs to be encrypted (so that only those with survey roles to view encrypted data can see), add the encrypt: y tag to the widget.

The below example shows that many of the typical text question type tags can be applied, as password and text question types are virtually the same, aside from the masked input.
